What it does
Paste an original and a changed version of any text -- a contract clause, an email draft, a paragraph of code, config file, anything -- and see exactly what was added, removed, or left alone. Switch between word-level diffing for prose and line-level diffing for structured text like code or lists.
Why it is private
The comparison runs entirely in your browser with plain JavaScript. Neither side of the text is ever uploaded, transmitted, or logged anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.
Tips
Turn on "Ignore whitespace" when comparing code or text that got reformatted but not meaningfully changed. Use Line diff for anything where line boundaries matter, like code or step-by-step instructions.
